Schneider Electric Canada and OptiMach join forces to create industrial robots

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario – Schneider Electric Canada announced a new partnership with OptiMach, a Quebec-based robotics company, to develop robotic solutions for a variety of industries, including wood products, food processing and packaging.

Schneider Electric will supply OptiMach with a range of products, including robots, motion, automation, control and consulting software.

“Schneider Electric is committed to creating a more sustainable future, and industrial automation plays a key role in enabling this transformation,” said Luc Chagnon, National Director of OEM Sales at Schneider Electric. “This partnership is a natural fit and will allow Schneider Electric to expand our presence in these markets, as well as help OptiMach provide its customers with cutting-edge products and superior customer service.

“We are excited about this promising partnership, as it means a lot for technological expansion and innovation in Canada and Quebec,” said Francis Pelletier, President of OptiMach. “We needed a partner whose solutions would integrate seamlessly with our existing portfolio, and Schneider Electric fits the bill. Schneider’s proven experience and network are invaluable as we seek to break down common misconceptions surrounding robotic solutions and help more businesses across Canada improve their operations.
